Engineering Leadership & Management
Lead, manage, and coordinate all engineering disciplines across the EPCM program.
Establish and implement the Program Engineering Execution Plan (PEEP).
Ensure engineering deliverables align with program objectives, client requirements, and EPCM contract scope.
Provide technical leadership and governance across all engineering activities.
Program & Interface Management
Manage interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
Coordinate with multiple project engineering managers to ensure alignment and consistency across the program.
Resolve cross-discipline and cross-project engineering issues.
Schedule, Cost & Quality Control
Monitor engineering progress against program schedules and budgets.
Identify risks, constraints, and bottlenecks impacting engineering execution.
Ensure engineering quality, compliance with standards, and design integrity across the program.
Support change management, including evaluation of variations and technical impacts.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as the primary engineering focal point for the client and key stakeholders.
Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and value engineering workshops.
Support client approvals, technical queries, and governance processes.
Contractors & Vendors
Oversee engineering consultants, subcontractors, and vendor technical interfaces.
Review and approve key engineering deliverables, calculations, and design documentation.
Ensure vendor and contractor designs comply with program specifications.
HSE & Risk Management
Embed HSE-by-design principles throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with applicable HSE, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
Lead engineering risk assessments, HAZID, HAZOP, and design safety reviews.
People & Capability
Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams across the program.
Support resource planning, competency assurance, and succession planning.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional registration preferred.
Engineering experience, including senior leadership roles on EPCM projects.
Proven experience managing multi-discipline engineering teams on large, complex programs.
Strong understanding of EPCM execution models, stage-gate processes, and project controls.
Experience in large capital projects (energy, mining, oil & gas, chemicals, or infrastructure).
