We're looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Manager of Solution Engineering, based from our Paris office. This is a key role, leading a highly visible and motivated Solution Engineering team covering Mid-Market and Enterprise level accounts with Energy & Utilities and Manufacturing industry expertise.

We're seeking an outstanding experienced leader to develop and execute a multifaceted sales strategy; gaining market share and building the highest levels of customer and team satisfaction.As a key member of the SE Leadership team, our ideal candidate will have strong pre-sales management experience leading a large complex team of Solution Engineers, ideally within the Energy & Utilities and Manufacturing sectors.

As well as a deep knowledge of Enterprise sales cycles, you'll demonstrate outstanding leadership, communication, strategic, analytical, pre-sales, and consulting skills, plus a track record of building high-performing teams. You'll also have strong success in the following areas:

• Internal and external Partner management

• C level relationships and the ability to translate these into revenue

• Transformational thinker and leader, taking the business to the next level through disruptive thinking and innovation

• Interpersonal and organisational leadership

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow an industry-focused Solution Engineering teams, ensuring we continue to hire and retain top talent in the market

• Partner with Sales leadership to support enterprise deals, as well as sign new logos

• Focus on innovation to ensure the team is constantly innovating in their approach to solution selling

• Build and nurture C-level relationships across key accounts to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer while penetrating deeper within accounts

• Work closely with the Sales organisation to develop and implement growth plans to achieve our strategic goals

• Hire elite talent, promote diversity (age, gender, experience, and heritage) and drive performance to ensure career growth opportunities and effective succession planning

• Embody Salesforce values and provide outstanding leadership

Experience/Skills Required:

• Sales orientated, broad-based pre-sales leadership or consulting experience in a company that delivers software-based business solutions related to Sales, Marketing, Services and Support

• Shown success in building a pre-sales or consulting organisation with a will to win and successfully demonstrating continuous improvement

• Track record of consistently delivering revenue numbers, producing accurate forecasts, while maintaining a focus on team development and growth

• Passion for technology and innovation, and a real "forward thinker"

• Expertise in Energy & Utilities and/or Manufacturing Industries preferred either as a Solutions leader or Consultant

• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

• Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technological and business concepts

• Strong understanding of business processes and their implementation into enterprise applications
