In the years since the college was established - in 1992 - our faculty have developed academic programs that prepare our graduates for careers in all the traditional disciplines of business. But what sets us apart is our special focus on the management and commercialization of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in the global marketplace, with a growing emphasis in sustainability as applied to all our disciplines. Our curriculum, developed by faculty who have real-world experience in business and industry, provides our students with the knowledge, skills and abilities they need to be achievers in whatever endeavors they pursue.
We are dedicated to preparing our students, regardless of their major, to work in a world whose dominant industries will be based on biosciences and other technologies, and whose leaders must also address the related ethical, human, and environmental sustainability issues that come with change.

Company History

NC State University is one of 16 universities in the UNC System and has over 34,000 students and more than 8,000 faculty and staff. It offers over 100 degree programs at bachelor, masters, professional and doctoral levels through the 10 colleges on campus. NC State receives more applications from North Carolina students than any other university. Its 1,000-acre Centennial Campus, recently selected as the Best University Research Park in the US, adjoins the 700-acre main campus.
