I2T is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support our growing team in Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities

• Design Electrical systems for industrial equipment
• Panel Layout design
• NFPA/NEC/IEEE compliance
• Generate drawings and documentation
• Ensure design adheres to industrial codes and customer requirements
• Travel to customer facilities for installation and support

Qualifications

• BSEE/EET or equivalent is required.
• Experience with CAD software and electrical design tools. AutoCAD Electrical Preferred
• Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting is required.
• Industry experience with automation equipment and/or manufacturing environments beneficial.
• 3-5 years of industry experience.
• US Citizenship

Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and design principles
• Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions during design and implementation efforts
• Capability to size motors and amplifiers for projects
• Experience with industrial robots is beneficial
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
