About this position
SeeScan is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support building prototypes, performing circuit testing and troubleshooting, assembling and wiring electronic components, and assisting engineers in research and development.
Compensation
The pay range for our Electrical Engineering Technician position is $35 to $43 hourly.
This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

In this position, you will
- Assemble, wire, and test electronic circuits, control panels, and subassemblies
- Support engineers in developing and debugging prototype hardware
- Operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other test equipment to verify design performance
- Diagnose and repair analog and digital circuits
- Identify root causes of test failures and collaborate with engineers to implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate test records, build notes, and revision documentation
- Update wiring diagrams, schematics, and parts lists in coordination with the design team
- Work with manufacturing to transition prototypes into production-ready assemblies
- Contribute to engineering documentation, process standardization, and quality control efforts
Your background
- 7+ years of experience as an electrical or electronics technician
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuitry, PCB layout concepts, and schematic reading
- Skilled in use of standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc.)
- Experienced in soldering and reworking surface-mount and through-hole components
- Experienced with microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems
- Proficiency with Altium Designer

- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret data
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Able to life and move up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of working under a stereo microscope for extended periods
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for precision reworks
