Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects that serve our community. You will not be managing every project yourself; instead, you will empower and support your team to deliver complex capital projects on time, on budget, and in compliance with Virginia procurement requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Hydraulic Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required; candidates licensed in another state must obtain Virginia licensure through reciprocity within 12 months of hire.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Public Administration preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in water and/or wastewater infrastructure engineering, construction, project delivery, and/or contract administration.
• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated responsibility for staff leadership, performance management, and team development.
