The Workforce Management (WFM) team is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Industrial Engineering Senior Manager to lead and manage key initiatives with a WFM lens within our retail pharmacy operations portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in driving operational improvements through pilots, data collection, and actionable recommendations for labor optimization. In this role, you will manage a small but impactful team, leading by example and providing direction and support to a direct report. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams-including Engineering, Budgeting, Scheduling, Innovation, DDAT, Growth, Regulatory, Legal, Quality and Safety-to ensure internal stakeholders are engaged and aligned with project goals. The Budgeting & Engineering Senior Manager will be responsible for creating and analyzing "what-if" scenarios, influencing decisions without direct authority, and translating feedback into strategic business decisions.
- Identify, scope, and set strategic priorities for key initiative implementation with a WFM lens in early-stage planning to ensure innovations are being realized and accounted for appropriately.
- Establish and maintain a strategic roadmap for labor innovation initiatives, aligning priorities with enterprise goals and consistently emerging business needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute labor focused pilots in stores including collecting feedback and providing recommendations for senior leaders with emphasis on change management to ensure field buy-in.
- Engage with key business partners to understand changes in the business and potential impacts on labor.
- Provide expert knowledge on workload implications in support of new initiatives led by business partners and senior leaders.
- Collaborate with Workforce Management team on labor budgeting, demand shape, scheduling, and field engagement on workload changes.
- Utilize a deep understanding of retail pharmacy operations to ensure process changes are updated in the form of engineered labor standards that are incorporated into labor budgeting processes.
- Influence leaders and peers without direct authority through consistent collaboration, feedback, and data driven results.
- Translate feedback and data into actionable business decisions through dynamic "what-if" scenario planning
- Lead and mentor a direct report, providing guidance, support, and professional development to ensure the successful execution of tasks and project goals. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of total business experience
- 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives with a high degree of complexity
- 8+ years influencing with and without authority.
- 8+ years leveraging data to support strategic plans and return on investment.
- 8+ years' experience working with a team to prioritize work based on skills, needs, timelines, etc.
- 8+ years' experience building high-performing teams.
- 8+ years' experience engaging and inspiring a team to reach optimal business outcomes together.
- Familiarity with workforce management processes and extensive knowledge of retail business operations
- Proven ability to deliver high quality professional communications, presentations, responses, and analyses on a wide range of requests by working quickly, independently and with minimal direction.
- Travel up to 25% of the time, based on business needs.

- MOST Certified
- PMP certification
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
