What You Will Be Doing
As a Process Engineering Intern, you will play a hands-on role within our Continuous Improvement team, leading a structured, Six Sigma Green Belt-style project over a three-month period. This role offers meaningful exposure to manufacturing and engineering processes, data-driven problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration. In addition to your primary improvement project, you will support and report on a new product introduction within our platform, gaining insight into how engineering design transitions into production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing mechanical and manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, quality, and throughput improvements
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to support process evaluation and improvement efforts
- Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to implement and document improvements
What You Will Bring
- Currently enrolled in a degree-granting program in a technical discipline, ideally Mechanical Engineering or Robotics Engineering
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong interest in mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Coursework or experience in statistics or data analysis preferred
- Exposure to Python, 3D printing software, or rapid prototyping tools is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate technical findings clearly
Duration and Location of Role:
- Onsite 5 Days, North Dartmouth, MA
- June- Mid August 2026
Compensation:
- $22-$26/hr
